RIM has introduced the Rs.180 - 18000 sms - 180 day validty top-up card...

this is a great stuff introduced by RIM but there are a few loopholes....

1. People will not come to know how many messages they have used. Even calling up the customer care won't help because there is no way they will tell how mans msgs you have used and how many you have left in balance...

2. In case you are addicted to this msging and your 18000 msgs are exhausted then you would be billed on the excess messages and we all know that RIM doesn't deduct the sms charges instantly but within 24 hours...so it might well be that you might have to cough up another 100 or 150 bucks for the additional msgs sent by you....

3. This card was introduced in lieu of the existing Top-up 55 card wherby you could send unlimited msgs to all RIM phones across India...but in this 180 card, you can send only local msgs but to all operators....so those who have a network of friends who are RIM subscribers but live across India then they will lose on it....


the most important thing - why have other operators not brought in such a scheme?? when the life-time incoming was introduced, in just 3 days, all operators introduced the same but why not in this case??? any loopholes????
