Mumbai: Cellular phone service major, Hutch today announced a new STD tariff at Re one per minute for its customers making calls to any phone across the country.
The plan, to come into effect from March four, is being offered to both post-paid and pre-paid customers of Hutch across all its circles, a release issued here said. | Railway Budget 2006 |
The customers do not need to change their existing talk plan since this is being offered as an add-on tariff at a charge of Rs 250 per month on the existing plans, the release said.
To activate this plan, the post-paid customers need to SMS 'Act India' to 111 and pre-paid customers to 144. |More news on India Budget 2006|
Company's chief marketing officer Naveen Chopra said, ''With this plan we are introducing a uniform STD call rate at a monthly charge on the existing plans. However, this plan cannot be combined with any other STD promotional plan.''
