Today I'll try to live my life
The way God wants me to.
That's why I'm sending you this poem
To express how much I love you.

Good friends like you are hard to find
A fact we all must face.
And so I want to tell you
You're impossible to replace.

I thank God for helping me
To find a friend so dear.
I know you'll always be there
Throughout the coming years.

You make me smile when I am sad
You cheer me when I am blue.
And I realize I'm very lucky
To have a friend like you.
