The dreams of yesterday
Have come...and gone
But my thoughts of you just linger on.
The sweet memories of you
Are they too good to be true?


Reminiscing is just not enough
How could you be the man of my dreams
That I've come to love?







Why aren't dreams like the Fairytales
Where we could all "live happily ever after"?
But like always...and it never fails
The dreamer is unable to hear the laughter.


I wish I could stop thinking of you
But then my incentive for dreaming is gone
And then there will be nothing
For me to hold on!







Now that I'm awake and coping with reality
I'm glad my dreams of you came true
And they are no longer just a fantasy!


But now I find myself
Holding on and thinking of the past
Dreaming and fantasizing helps
But I want another dream to last!


It's amazing...of all the different inventions
There isn't a single device
That can help me
To make my dream come true...TWICE! !
